Excellent Spectrum of the 12,000K lamp |

About a year ago I replaced the 10,000K and Actinic (420nm) lamps in the CF fixture over a 38 gallon reef with all Odyssea 12,000K lamps, and couldn't be happier with the results. The 12,000K lamps emit a sufficient amount of the blue spectrum as to where I can use nothing but these daylight lamps without actinic supplementation and achieve similar results when compared to 10,000K/6500K + actinics. In my opinion The color temperature of the 12,000K lamp is also very pleasing to the eye when compared to other lower K-rating daylight lamps. Great product, and coral growth is excellent!
